State Championship Weekend...
On a normal weekend at the end of March, I would have spent most of Saturday & Sunday in a big gym with my team girls coaching them through their Rhode Island State Championships… not this year. And yes, it is sad and disappointing, but we need to do what is best for our health and the health of all of those around us. So instead, I am at home with my family, doing all the other things, besides gymnastics, that I love to do. Here is a little peak into what I have been doing to stay busy.
reading a novel… for enjoyment. So far it is very good!
Working on finishing up a baby blanket for an expecting friend…my excuse now not to have it done in time!
Started some seeds for our “victory garden”. Contrary to this photo, and all the green that you see, I really do not have a green thumb. But, it will be fun to try.
Just finished watching “Somewhere South” which previewed last night on PBS. Love Vivian Howard and I am so excited to have another show of hers to watch. “A Chef’s Life” is one of my favorite series.
I have also been spending a lot of time, working on the best course forward for RGA, homeschooling the kids (not new to us), and keeping myself busy with other craft projects. check out my etsy shop if you want to see more of what i’ve been up to..
Would love to hear what you guys are doing to stay busy! Tag us on instagram or Facebook, or shoot me an email! Miss all of my friends and I hope that we will be back in the gym soon! Happy Sunday!
Be More! & Be Safe!
